Effective, Results-driven Strategic Leadership

Strategic Technology Vision & Business Alignment

Ensures that every architectural decision contributes to measurable business value, balancing the need for innovation with operational stability and long-term scalability. Without this alignment, technology risks becoming an isolated function rather than a driver of competitive advantage.

Decisive
Leadership & Governance

Enables teams to make informed decisions and operate with high autonomy while maintaining consistency across the enterprise. Strong governance helps navigate trade-offs, manage risks, and ensure that technology investments support both current and future business needs.

High-performing Teams and a Culture of Excellence

Fosters collaboration, develops technical talent, and creates mentorship pipelines that empower teams to take ownership of architectural principles. By embedding continuous learning and technical leadership into the culture, the organization becomes more agile, resilient, and prepared for change.

Relentless Pursuit of Excellence: Precision, Innovation, and Mastery in Architecture

Scalable & Resilient Architecture

Systems must be designed for high availability, fault tolerance, and adaptability to future growth. A well-architected technology foundation ensures that the business can evolve without being hindered by technical limitations, making resilience and scalability fundamental priorities.

Optimized Integration & Interoperability

Monoliths are all but extinct. Modern architecture requires an API-first, event-driven, and service-oriented approach that enables seamless connectivity across platforms, applications, and data ecosystems. Without this, technology silos and inefficiencies can cripple the organization’s ability to innovate and scale.

Security In Depth & Compliance

Ensures that security best practices are applied at every architectural layer—while also meeting regulatory and compliance standards—protects the organization from risks and builds trust with stakeholders. A proactive approach to security prevents costly breaches and compliance failures, ensuring that architecture remains both robust and defensible.

Education

I studied Electronics Engineering at ITT Technical Institute in West Covina, CA in the 1980's. I changed the direction of my pursuits before completing my degree program but left with a love for electronics that lead to a hobby of tearing apart and hacking personal computers, beginning with a couple of IBM PS2's a local hospital was throwing away. This was the genesis that lead to my future career in tech.

Due to the pace of technology and ever-evolving regulatory and economic markets, being an architect is synonymous with being an auto-didact. Below are some of the most impacting books on my career:
